This is exactly where the problem lies with many of you who build your tribal narratives and unity on Yoruba hate. Risevest CEO Eke Urum is a tribal bigot. His old tweet calling Yoruba women cheats proves it. Now he wants to investigate an executive for the same offence. The Yoruba Times has reviewed the public statements and social media history of Eke Eleanya Urum, CEO of Risevest, following his announcement of an internal review of an executive's old tweets. What we found is deeply troubling. Urum, in an old tweet, wrote: "Yoruba women will cheat to stupor but they will use fire jollof and 'olowo ori mi' to confuse your senses. Works every time." This is not satire. This is not a joke taken out of context. This is a man painting an entire ethnic group of women as promiscuous and manipulative. This is tribal bigotry. Plain and simple. Yet this same man now positions himself as the arbiter of what is offensive. He called an executive's old tweets "too serious to be dismissed as shitposting" and promised to handle the matter firmly and without favouritism. The Yoruba Times asks: who handles the CEO? Who reviews the reviewer? Urum cannot lead an investigation into offensive tweets when his own Twitter feed contains the exact same kind of offence. He cannot claim to stand for respect and inclusion while his own digital footprint disrespects Yoruba women in sweeping, degrading terms. If Risevest is serious about accountability, the internal review must include the CEO. His old tweets are public. They are on record. And they are indefensible. But we suspect no such review will touch him. Because power protects itself. And tribal bigots rarely face the consequences they are so eager to impose on others. Yoruba women deserve better. Not a CEO who insults them, then pretends to be a moral leader. Not a company that talks about values while its founder's old posts say the quiet part out loud. Eke Urum owes Yoruba women an apology. Not a statement. Not a review. A public, unconditional apology. Anything less is hypocrisy. And The Yoruba Times will not look away.

IBO MAN: They are detribalized Nigerians, the greatest Patriots around. God bless them. Joe Igbokwe an Ibo who is neither here nor there openly supported Bola Tinubu in daylight even though his loyalties may be somewhere else in the night. IBO MAN: He is an Efulefu. We will roast him alive if he comes to Ibo. We have burnt his house. 3. PSquare, Onyeka Onwenu, Pete Edochie and very many other Ibo artists came out with full chests in daylight to support Peter Obi. IBO MAN : They are Nigerian Patriots. They are not doing it because Obi is Ibo but because he is the most qualified candidate in Nigeria. Ibos don't do tribalism. Seyi Law, Toyin Abrahams, Joke Silva and some other Yoruba people expressed their support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu IBO MAN: They are all tribalists and evil people. They are the problem with Nigeria, always playing tribal Politics. We will cancel all of them on social media and all over the internet, their businesses will go down. 4. Peter Obi cleared the votes of the whole South-East getting and average of over 90% of the total vote cast across the South-East leaving less than 10% for all other contestants to share. IBO MAN: Ibo people are sophisticated voters. They didn't vote for him because he is an Ibo man. Bola Tinubu got less than 50% of the Votes in Lagos State, Lost Osun State and managed to get less than 60% average votes cast in Yoruba South-West States. IBO MAN: Yoruba people are born-tribalists since the days of Awolowo. Despite the huge numbers of Ibos in Lagos and Oyo State they couldn't give Obi 80% votes. 6. Peter Mbah, an Ibo man, came out in Enugu for 2023 Guber elections. Bianca Ojukwu rose from Anambra to contest Senate in that Anambra State. Betty Akeredolu from her husband's Ondo State returned to Imo to contest Senate IBO MAN: Mbah's GREAT-GRANDFATHER was from Ezi in Ebonyi State, he can't be allowed to Govern Enugu. Bianca's father Chris Onoh is from Enugu, the daughter can't ever be allowed to contest Senate in Anambra where she is married to Ojukwu. She must go to her father's place to contest. Betty is already married to Yoruba man in Ondo, she should stay in Yoruba land to do and get whatever she wants there. In the same period, Chinedu Rhodes-Vivour whose great-grandfather Garnet Rhodes-Vivour was a pure Ibo man from Opobo came out to contest Lagos Guber. He had earlier openly identified with IPOB, supported the IPOB-led ENDSARS destruction of Lagos and openly sided with everything Ibo against the interest of Lagos and Yoruba land including insulting our elders, leaders and Culture. IBO MAN: He is a Yoruba man. Yoruba people are terrible tribalists. They must allow Chinedu to become Governor of Lagos. 7. Twitter spaces are full of Ibo congregation cursing, abusing, mocking, threatening and spreading hate and propaganda. They are so many of them all over the internet that we have almost gotten used to it. They call us such derogatory names as Yariba, Yaribastard, Ronu and even doing everything to re-write our own history for us in ways that transfer ours to them. IBO MAN: It is One Nigeria and there is freedom of expression. Everybody must be free to express himself wherever he finds himself.../
