Nice bait, but incorrect. Not all Apple CPUs are vulnerable (M4/M5 is mitigated). Likelihood of average person getting hacked is extremely unlikely. Please do research before making a big fuss over something that isn’t even a remotely executable flaw - the exploit requires you to run local code for the actual attack to be successful.

How many steps does it take to change a Facebook password? Too many. Gotta log into Facebook, Meta Accounts Centre which takes you to Instagram Login then back to the Accounts Centre which then takes you to Facebook Security, gotta 2FA, try to change password, doesn’t work, then you get kicked to the recovery page and then get a six digit passcode texted via SMS which sometimes doesn’t get sent, which means you have to wait for a minute until you can resend it. Then you go through the password reset and wait a bit only to get an error message saying you can’t access that function from the password reset page and to go back and try again. After that you find the password you just set and the old password no longer work so you have to recover the password and by the time you’ve repeated the process Facebook thinks you’re malicious and puts you in timeout. tl;dr How NOT to design a fucking password recovery process.

Fuck Avast and their parent company, Gen Digital, for peddling shit in their security software. Wipe Claude’s memory in settings, or turn off memory altogether if you don’t want Claude to pick up stuff and keep it as a “memory”. Go incognito or even don’t use Claude to talk about stuff that makes you feel like Claude is profiling you. I think you’re overreacting to something you’re seeing.
