Instead of evaluating AI tech based on the capabilities of individual versions/current state, best start getting used to evaluating rate of change/improvement too. AI model release/version numbers won't stay incremental like you're used to with traditional software.

If the Auckland flooding event was a once in 100 year or once in 50 year event. The implication is that it happened before - in average every 100/50 years. So it cannot then be Climate Change.
