How do you turn 43 million tons of blade waste from turbines into park benches and koala crossings? How many park benches does one planet actually need? Modern recycling for glass and carbon fibre often requires pyrolysis (high-heat chemical decomposition). To recycle a 'green' blade, you must burn an immense amount of energy to break down the resins. We are trading a physical waste problem for a new energy demand problem. People love a quirky solution that highlights the absurdity of the problem—like the image of a massive 80-metre blade being used as a single, very long bus shelter. Even 'green' solutions have a physical footprint that can't be wished away by a spreadsheet.

The Ukrainian Air Force carried out another combined attack on Russia’s Geran-2 drone launch site at Donetsk International Airport. Storm Shadow cruise missiles and GBU-39 glide-bombs were used. Notably, a reconnaissance drone was able to film and adjust the strikes from above the airport, over 50 km from the frontline.

The Ukrainian winter counteroffensive: According to my estimations, Ukraine recaptured and still holds approximately 288 km², which is almost identical to @Suriyakmaps's estimation of around 283 km². This number is very different to most Pro-Russian estimates of around 70 km² and most Pro-Ukrainian estimates of over 400 km².

The Ukrainian special operations forces published new footage claiming to showing long-range drone strikes on Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile launchers in Crimea. According to them, the strikes targeted a launcher near the village of Vyshneve and a facility storing launchers near the village of Kurortne. Both of these locations are known to have Iskander-M launch positions.

I hope Putin is smart enough to take Odessa, Kharkov, and Kiev, and not just stop at Donbass…
