If you are a founder trying to raise money for your startup , here are the different ways which you can use to raise money and finance your startup 1. Equity Financing - Sell a percentage of your company in exchange for capital. 2. Debt Financing - Borrow money from banks, lenders, or institutions and repay with interest. 3. Convertible Notes - A loan that converts into equity during a future funding round. 4. SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) - Investors provide capital today in exchange for future equity, usually at the next fundraising round. 5. Revenue-Based Financing - Raise capital and repay investors a percentage of future revenue until a predetermined amount is paid back. 6. Crowdfunding - Raise small amounts of money from many people through platforms or communities. 7. Grants - Non-dilutive funding from governments, foundations, accelerators, or ecosystem programs. 8. Venture Debt - Specialized loans provided to venture-backed startups to extend runway without immediate dilution. 9. Strategic Partnerships - Secure funding, credits, or investment from larger companies that benefit from your growth. 10. Customer Financing (Pre-sales) - Collect payment upfront for products or services before delivery, effectively using customers to finance growth. 11. Invoice Financing / Factoring - Borrow against unpaid invoices to improve cash flow. 13. Asset-Backed Financing - Use company assets, inventory, equipment, or receivables as collateral for funding. 14. Accelerators & Incubators - Programs that provide capital, mentorship, credits, and resources in exchange for equity or participation. 15. Founder Financing - Capital injected by founders through personal savings or loans. 16. Friends & Family Round - Early-stage funding from personal networks, often before institutional investors get involved. Kindly share to founders who might need this

What a weird way to look at it. Manner don't drop from heaven again. A lady on Twitter bought me a good laptop 2 years ago, and I used that laptop to make over $20k( this my 2nd year in the tech space) and currently still using it. I was too broke to afford it. After experiencing the opportunity a good laptop gives you. That's why I bought 2 laptops for random people here on X lasted year and hopefully I can do that this year. Not because a laptop guarantees success, but because it removes a major barrier and prepares you for opportunities when they come. Nobody is saying a laptop guarantees a job. A laptop doesn't automatically create opportunities. What it does is put you in a better position to access them. The difference between trying to build a career on a phone and on a laptop is huge. When my laptop got damaged, I panicked because I was broke and had to rely only on my phone. I quickly realized that "locking in" on a phone is completely different from locking in on a laptop. With a laptop, you can apply for jobs faster, learn more effectively, attend interviews professionally, work on multiple tasks at once, use tools that simply don't work well on mobile, organize your workflow better, and reduce distractions. It helps you show up consistently. A laptop is not the destination. It's a tool. But for many people trying to break into tech or remote work, it's one of the most important tools they can have. And you people should stop acting like manner will drop from heaven.

If you just finished NYSC and you don’t have a job or know where to work, let me show you how to get hired as a product manager in 4 months. If you also just left a toxic workplace with no backup job, or You're bored of your current job and looking for a new challenge or You just want to start product management Read this. This is exactly what I did: 1. Join a training academy: Just drop those youtube videos and random free courses. Find an academy that gives you structured learning, a community you can rely on, and direct access to seniors in the field you can network with and get jobs working in their company. 2. Make noise on LinkedIn: This is how I got a job as a mid-level PM while I was in university, even though I was entry level. I didn’t even go through any interview process. My LinkedIn page did that for me. People are watching - believe me. Think of LinkedIn as your presentation ground - if you had an assignment for the week, present it. Just like that, you’re posting once a week for the next 12 weeks. 3. Build a portfolio: My portfolio only had PRDs and roadmaps I had done for friends. Those small 10k / 20k gigs got me a 300k job. Turn your assignments into case studies in your portfolio. Start doing those 3 and get yourself a job this 2026. On Monday , I’ll share a killer portfolio template that gets the attention of hiring managers, even if you’re just starting out. Don’t miss it🫵
