I've been building small side projects for my kids the last few years. Before LLMs, it took me 3 months to build a small fantasy football auto-play system. With ChatGPT 3.5 it took me 3 weeks and had extra features. With CC 4.5 I rebuilt something better in 2 days.

early in my career when i was learning a new tech or language i would tinker and google whenever i hit a roadblock eventually i realized books had all the information i needed pre-googled for me i think this is happening again with LLMs - sometimes i waste so much time letting the LLM keep taking swings instead of reading something hope the industry doesn't abandon producing good reading material

They say I have selective memory. Maybe. But Chat GPT comes in handy for those times my memory isn’t memory-ing. I ask it at least 10 questions a day. I don’t see us going back. If you aren’t using it you really should.

Aspire to be the best “you” can be. You know it’s achievable because it’s tailored to you specifically.
