Atiku and Obi are retired permanently into oblivion & clowning. The affirmation of this will be next year. They can only contest for deals with the likes of Tinubu henceforth or for fundraising. Young politicians must learn from this. Know when to stop acting stupid & greedy.

Ndigbo wants a man of valour to lead them, not a man of victim mentality. Whoever goes out of the Coalition to contest election is working for Tinubu. Watch the full interview on the state of the Coalition on Symfoni TV with Kenneth Okonkwo held on 6 May 2026. youtu.be/NDjgfpd8knU?si…

@codedchess @ruffydfire Exactly. That should have been your first response to Rufai's tweet. Not to attack PO even when the tweet was about Atiku.

Over the last one year, we have consciously and consistently worked to build a coalition of well-meaning Nigerians under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Our purpose has been clear, to deliver good governance to the people of Nigeria and to build a nation that is accountable, inclusive, and prosperous. On Sunday, May 3, 2026, my brother, His Excellency Peter Obi, made the decision to move to the NDC in pursuit of his political aspirations. While I would have preferred that this ambition was pursued within the ADC, I recognize that in a democracy, every leader has the right to make political choices guided by conviction. I respect his decision and wish him well. We share a common aspiration for a better Nigeria, one that works for all and respects our diversity. This remains our collective goal, one that transcends political platforms. As a foundational member of the ADC coalition, I am fully conversant with the detailed and painstaking efforts that have brought us to where we are today. These efforts have been built on sacrifice, strategic alignment, and a clear vision for Nigeria’s future. After due consultation and reflection over the past 72 hours, I have chosen to remain in the African Democratic Congress at this time. I take deliberate political steps, and for now, I find no justification to turn my back on the ADC. We will continue to work towards the shared vision of a New Nigeria, same OBJECTIVES, different PLATFORMS.

@codedchess @ruffydfire It is actually written all over your statement. Has your principal remained in one platform? I am still waiting an answer to the question. Where are the others that Atiku used as running mates. Why isn't he begging them why beg PO? PO gave separate Atiku the highest votes ever!

@codedchess @ruffydfire Begged PO, in 2023, did you listen to yourself, 2023 power move to the south. Atiku is North. And his supporters chose to keep their blind eyes and deaf ears closed about that. Please, put it right, he spoiled the PO's landslide victory.

@codedchess @Tinobest77 @ruffydfire Where is the miscalculation here? PO should remain where the 80 year old man has infiltrated with his dogs? He simply has left d party for them to enjoy. Tell me where we are as a country since BAT became your president? PO will still be ok no matter what. So bring the lesson

@codedchess @ruffydfire The time AA chose Obi has passed, now the country is politicking in the South and AA still wants Obi as vice? Is that logical to you? AA's choice is coming at the wrong time. After 2031, if Obi decides to run along with AA, then we will fault him. Now it's his time.

@codedchess @ruffydfire In 2023, both Atiku and Kwankwanso underestimated Peter Obi, even telling him that the only opportunity Southeast have to the Presidency is for Obi to deputize either of them, but after 2023, both acknowledge that Obi would win over them.
