@btrembly Worse than the data issue is the endless hours of brain rot experienced by and propagated by the users of the platform. The only way these companies can get away with accessing that much data is when users willingly forfeit their rights to privacy.

Is banning TikTok the right approach? I don't know. I've always been paranoid for downloading certain apps. But I feel education is better than bans.
