You keep glomming on to the central location as though people travel to the event in a covered wagon. It also wasnt central until the four west coast programs onboarded. No one‘s disputing your fans attendance at your games. You’ll travel anywhere, and every other team will travel better, possibly with the exception of Iowa to a location with a better airport and better weather and better off-field options if you want to extend your trip. As far as the comparisons to the CWS, there is no comparison. This event isn’t anything like the CWS, which by the way I hope never leaves Omaha.

Nebraska is a rural ag state. That is who we are. To pretend otherwise is laughable. We are not defined by UNL, Warren Buffet, Nebraska Furniture Mart, or the Mutual of Omaha.
