It's amazing how so many people that are "smart" aren't able to figure this out. It's not that complicated, there needs to be two levels. 1. Revenue Share - Whatever your number is it's divided between every scholarship player and walk on player evenly, with one rate for scholly players and one for walk on players. Every player on that level gets the same amount. This is what the school handles and it's capped at whatever the cap number is set at. 2. NIL - No cap on this. It can be done through the school (finding partners) or what players and their agents are able to get on their own. There needs to be guidelines to ensure these are legitimate deals (entities use the player's NIL and player must have some minimum level of partnership: social media, personal appearances, voice work for ads, etc) so it's not just straight pay for play.

Great point! There is precedent. #2 Auburn lost the SEC title game to a Georgia team they DOMINATED earlier in the season. They lost 28-7, which gave them 3 losses. They dropped 5 spots in the rankings.
