@TalkingTHFC @NFFC Uefa should take some action here. Its belittling the competition, especially at this stage.

@NFFC The absolute state of you lot. All that noise about Europe to throw it in because you're worried about little old Spurs on Sunday.

If it came down to it, and tomorrow could not be a draw, dreams and fantasies aside, we surely want Tottenham to beat Forest, don't we?

Post-COVID syndrome may involve problems with blood clotting and reactivation of latent Epstein–Barr virus (EBV). ➡️ Researchers identified circulating blood microaggregates that could impair capillary blood flow and found increased immune responses to EBV in affected patients. ➡️ Retrospective observations suggest that some patients improved with antithrombotic therapy and antiviral treatment targeting EBV, indicating potential therapeutic avenues. nature.com/articles/s4159…

LOOK AND READ: DARK TOWERS (1981) Legendary serial, transmitted as part of the BBC's literacy strand for primary school kids. Spooky goings on at the titular house, with an unforgettable theme sung by the one and only Derek Griffiths!

@JillianJade22 @NFFC_owen agree broadly, but also a bit more nuanced than twitter allows. cloughie was the greatest manager we ever had, but he also was part of the reason justin fashanu hanged himself. por ejempio. reality is messy!

@dauzlee04 i think there's a bit more nuance to it than either you or OP are suggesting. but while modern-day russia is doing a great deal to erode historical goodwill, i tend to agree with you more than him.

Over a third of commonly prescribed drugs are known mitotoxins. Statins, PPIs, certain antibiotics, metformin, fluoroquinolones, etc... They impair electron transport, uncouple membranes, or deplete cofactors like CoQ10. So you show up with fatigue, muscle pain, brain fog but nobody connects it to the prescription. You end up gettng more drugs for those symptoms = another vicious cycle. I also believe the real number is prob higher than a third btw. Most drugs just haven't been tested for mitotoxicity. But is what it is. This is a great website for checking the mitochondrial effects of drugs btw: mitotox.org

@wt_analysis for me it is an indictment that in an attack jesus is the 4th furthest forward. you want your CF to attack the 6 yard box, and at times he wasn’t even attacking the 18 yd box. why was he dropping deep when MGW is already doing that? #nffc

Thoughts on #NFFC tonight. Disappointment. An entirely avoidable goal on a night where Forest somehow find a way to lose a game they should never lose. Aina's defending for the goal is awful, and it's really made the second leg a lot more difficult. I saw plenty of stuff tonight that was encouraging, especially in the way that Pereira asked Forest to progress the ball, and rotate players to create more space. In particular the set up from deep often put 5 players (including the wing-backs) in the centre circle, before they would all break in different directions. Unfortunately though, for all the good work in moving the ball, Forest as ever struggled in the final third. They forced Olafsson into a couple of decent saves, but I only really remember one or two clear cut chances. It was a shame to see Jair Cunha get injured after having to wait so long for a consistent opportunity, hopefully it isn't too serious but it certainly didn't look great. I thought Hutchinson, although bright was ultimately disappointing. His composure in the final third was severely lacking, and from my seat it looked like he was complaining that Gibbs-White had actually passed him the ball in the box. He's fortunate that Bakwa & Ndoye have struggled for form and fitness because at the moment it feels like he's in the side by default rather than having deserved it. It's a massive 10 days for the club, starting on Sunday. At full strength Forest should be able to cause Fulham problems, there's clearly been some good work going on at the training ground but Forest simply have to convert that into goals - I fear this fragile team can't take many more defeats like this, so they really need to start giving them a bit of space during games to absorb mistakes like Aina's today.
