We have to let our kids work through their problems. There are two kinds of parents. One prepares the path for the child, and the other prepares the child for the path.

When Ks climb, most coaches go straight to a two-strike approach. That’s not wrong, but it’s late. Teams that punch out live in two-strike counts. They often from early swings that are too big, poor decisions, or taking pitches they should attack. Win strikes 1–2. Prevent it

Akshay Bhatia dedicated his win to his niece, Mia, who died in December. "When I saw that rainbow on 18, it reminded me of her. "I told my sister, you know, I've been thinking about her for a long time after she passed and dedicated this win for her."

I used to over-coach everything. Too many drills. Too many words. Too many coaching points. Eventually I learned: Just be clear and consistent. Players learn better that way.

Discipline shows up every day — in the reps, in the details, in the ownership. It’s choosing to do the small things with excellence until they stop feeling small. It’s the edge that can’t be faked, the language that every competitor respects, and the standard that separates the good from the great.
