@SimoneKali @RPinHD My husband watches Everybody Hates Chris on repeat (streaming) but he also has the series on DVD. He always points out when they change a song in the episodes because the rights to music were probably to expensive.

@RPinHD :/ yeah since they were music based channels they put songs all through programs and it was pre-streaming so their contacts for the songs did not include Internet/streaming (and for some even DVD) usage Like 90s sitcoms that went to Netflix had to replace some memorable songs

The fact that MTV/VH1/BET doesn’t have every single piece of original content created between 1990 - 2010 IMMEDIATELY and EASILY ready to stream is such a missed bag. Like deadass what is y’all DOING.

@sage_stage @likenoothererin My prep is 1st period after I've already taught 0 period so I'm normally the first person covering. When my prep was 7th period, I still used the restroom when I needed to. It shouldn't inconvenience the teacher before me, they can lock the door behind them and I'll open it :)

@cohsocleary @likenoothererin It's one this if you are the second person on coverage and it inconveniences the first person on coverage. But if you are the first person, and just taught and now have to trek across the school without a break? That's when people are doing it.

Weve got a mini revolt brewing of teacher's who are tired of having to do extra coverage every day. People are starting to show up just a few minutes late for it, saying "well I have to do this and this during my planning time as well" let's see how this goes.

@likenoothererin @sage_stage I sub cover 3-4 times a week, my room is on the outskirts of campus, and I'm pregnant so I use the restroom a lot. I run late sometimes 🤷‍♀️

@sage_stage How can you justify being late to coverage? Who is watching the students during that time? Does someone else have to stay later? That’s not fair.

@AshleyFrietze My husband felt the same way but he likes the pumpkin cream cold brew (I think that's the name 😂). One of his students kept coming to school with it and he thought it looked good. He's ordered it 3 times this week.

I used almost all of these channels (and then some) to create an extra credit assignment for my students! I love watching videos on interesting topics. My husband and I have been learning a lot about the Mariana Trench and deep sea gigantism 😀
