@WestJet At Gatwick. Why does it say boarding on the airport board when the plane hasn’t even arrived at the gate yet! 1 hour and counting in the tiny waiting area. app doesn’t even say flight is delayed even though we haven’t started boarding and it’s past departure time.

Reminder that FHSAs are still relatively new. As such, a lot of provinces have not yet updated their laws to allow beneficiary appointments. In some cases, financial institutions will allow you to list a beneficiary on their account paperwork that may not be valid (see below highlighted section for an example). A touch base with your estate lawyer would be advised to ensure your estate plans are working, as you intend them to, in this interim period of time.

@colaaike The official guidance is kind of vague but also strict - everyone I've talked to has a different story. I'm worried my going-home test will get delayed in processing and won't be ready by the time I need to board the plane.

Flying out to California on Friday to visit family I haven't seen for two years. FYI in Nova Scotia you have to pay for your own covid test for personal travel and it's $150-$200+.
