This is exactly what I've been doing, except I'm not charging $2-3k/month. I built the full AI stack for my own cleaning company. Freed my time up from 20hrs a week to 5hrs. Margins went from 20% to 40%. Now I am doing this for other businesses for free to show I can bring value first before even asking for their credit card. Giving away the full playbook for free so you can see what's actually inside: Like this post & comment "AI" and I'll DM it to you. Here's what you're getting: • How to audit which roles in your business AI can actually handle • How to set up a custom agent trained on your processes (not a generic GPT wrapper) • How to connect it to your CRM, Slack, and reporting tools • Sub-agents for onboarding, client comms, and data tracking The "AI guy" model works. But most people teaching it have never actually run a business with these systems. I have and built agents out for home service businesses doing over $100 million a year. Drop "Agent" below.
Yonan@yonann

Chris Camillo reveals how people are making $500K/year being an "AI guy" for small businesses "There are millions of small businesses out there and almost none of them are willing to embrace AI right now, you just walk in and say give me one area where you're leaking money, I'll fix it for free" "Within days you've set up an AI agent answering their calls, sending responses, getting quotes out in real time… and you just increased their revenue by 5 to 15% at essentially no cost" "Now you're invaluable. They're paying you $2,000 or $3,000 a month to be their AI guy, you replicate that across 10 or 20 businesses and you're making half a million a year"

@nolzay77 I have also been getting meta leads outside my target area. Today alone had 2 leads who were 30 miles away.

We are getting leads 500 miles away from our target market and our CPL’s have doubled/tripled in some instances. There is nothing wrong with our creatives. Turning everything off for the time being.

This week, like many other weeks in 2026 (2025 / 2024 / 2023 / 2022...) Meta ads simply broke. You probably haven't heard a peep from Meta on it, but it's been brutal. We're talking turning ad accounts off brutal. Some of you were probably 100% immune. Others had no idea because your teams suddenly tried shifting their creative / offers. Others work with agencies that probably set it and forgot it. Whatever it may be... I sound like a broken record here venting. But this just simply is becoming more and more unacceptable at the sheer level of these bugs. There feels like no recourse. No post-mortems. No true apologies. Just simply, break then kill a brand's performance for around a week, get a small refund, then move on to the next time it breaks. I'm tired guys. I know X is here to post about AI automations and how awesome I am, but the reality is this week (much like many other weeks prior) I find myself being therapist to CMOs and brand teams trying to figure out is this a bug, a creative issue, or the business. More and more it's a bug. I want Meta to be stable, but every year from Feb - May it's just a mess. Do we simply just pull budget during Meta's annual bug season? I'm out of answers personally but on behalf of the brands that pay me to manage advertising across every ad platform, I'd like some answers from Meta because it's the only one plagued with these issues at this scale.

@ChrisCleaning28 I have been having this issue too. Simply raising all our prices would definitely help although at the moment I’m not too focused on squeezing out profits

Thinking about providing a set number of hours to each onetime cleaning and if the go over that, we charge x per hour additional. Too many times we arrive to a house and we are just not charging enough. It’s too much to expect some of my cleaners to recognize it at the start of a cleaning. Any thoughts?

I’m preparing to move from Quo to GHL so we can have all communications + automated SMS being sent from one platform. Has anyone used GHL as their phone systems? Seems like everyone on X just uses Quo 🤔

With Facebook being our main source for leads, it’s been difficult tracking everyone and doing proper follow ups. Finally have GHL setup with some great pipelines and automations so I’m excited to see how that helps us stay organized in the following weeks.

@cleaningbizguy Affiliate marketers use AI UGC video ads all the time, I have always thought it would work well for cleaning ads. Might be worth looking into.

New creative for meta ads launched today. Testing out the UGC style video of one of our girls talking in the camera instead of a video of our team cleaning with a voiceover of me talking. Let’s see how it goes.

We had 2 cleanings booked today that I thought would be easy, then anything that could have gone wrong went wrong. VA called out sick mid-shift and our cleaner walked out the second booking without warning. Tough day but I learned a lot, we keep moving!

@JacquesHBastien @cyrusfba What happens if you have two cleaners assigned but one arrives way earlier than the other? Any complaints from that?

Dropped refund rate by like 80% from having a 2-hour window. In the past, the expectation was that we were always late. But now, 30 mins over just means we’re early into our arrival window. Zero pushback. Some people just say, I can only be there between 8am - 9am and in those jobs… we ask cleaners to make sure they get there early.

Cleaning biz owners - To this day I have not set up twilio automations through BK for customers, only admin and providers. I never send our checklist unless they ask, never send our cancellation policy unless they ask, never say we don’t move furniture unless they ask, etc. I have heard of some of yall sending a sort of “get ready for your appointment” text including that info. Give me some tips with these please. What’s the sauce, best thing to add in, would love to hear how everyone has it configured

@cleaningbizguy Real estate agents will swear to you that it makes sense, but it just doesn’t. Sure there are tax benefits, but a negative cap rate is way too much risk.

Can someone actually explain to me why you buy real estate at a negative cap rate if I can just put my money in stocks or a money market fund paying 4% risk free. Working in finance, I can’t wrap my head around this.

@MrWilliamY Indeed has been very costly for me with not so good results. I tried out NextDoor last week and was able to hire a cleaner the first day. The only issue I have found with NextDoor is that most cleaners will have limited availability as they already have clients.

Do any of the cleaning business owners here use facebook groups to perform outreach to cleaners. I've had some success but it hasnt been great. Indeed really hasnt been great for us either.
