@metpoliceuk I have just reported anti social behaviour in my street that has been going on all night, CAD1745. I was told that you were aware of it but cannot guarantee that police will come out. It is now 0700 and the street has had no sleep all night. Why can't send anyone out

@MetCC They have now gone. I called back with further info and the man had police out within 30 minutes. Can you please investigate why in my 1st call..cad#1745, I was told the police are unlikely to come out?

@MetCC Hi, have called again and the police have said they will be out in the hour. No helmets, no licence plate, look under age and have been doing wheelies up and down our road for the past couple of hours and earlier last night

Yet another slap on the wrist for an animal abuser 😡! Cruel animal abuser Andrew McLaughlin starved bulldog to death in Port Glasgow. Andrew McLaughlin asked a vet for advice on how to euthanise a pet after his bulldog, Luna, fell ill – and then handed Luna's body into the Small Animal Hospital in Glasgow after she died. McLaughlin, from PORT GLASGOW, has been banned from keeping a dog for the rest of his life after admitting causing Luna unnecessary suffering. The 40-year-old failed to seek appropriate veterinary attention for Luna's condition - ultimately causing her death by starvation. Sheriff Anthony McGeehan said the offence was 'horrific' and highlighted part of the social work report issued for McLaughlin, which revealed that the cruel abuser sought veterinary advice on how to euthanise the animal. McLaughlin was put on a community payback order which means he will be under social work supervision for 12 months.
