South Air, Pakistan’s new private airline, is making a promising start by reconnecting major cities with long-neglected destinations using ATR-72 and ATR-42 aircraft. With 24 flights in its first four days, it has revived routes linking Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Turbat, Quetta, and Islamabad, adding a new sector of Karachi–Turbat–Peshawar. Hopefully, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, and Chitral will soon be added. A welcome step towards improving regional connectivity and national integration.

He was a brave son of Balochistan. First earned the title of Ghazi, and later laid down his life in the service of the nation. Today marks the first anniversary of his martyrdom.
