I’ll never forget what BioWare did to my boy the Architect. The first sentient darkspawn we encounter in Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening. He modified the Taint, severed the Old Gods’ call, created thinking, speaking darkspawn, and essentially founded an entirely new form of life in Thedas. This is a character who fundamentally rewrites everything we know about darkspawn, the Blights, and the nature of the Taint… and then we never hear from him again. You’re telling me the guy who: • created sentient darkspawn (the Disciples) • altered the Taint itself • introduced the possibility of coexistence instead of endless Blights ...just disappears from a series built on those exact concepts? How do you introduce a character with world-altering implications like that and then do nothing with him.

@CaptainFlowers @InitialiseCasts 13 is vastly superior game IMO. But everyone got different takes on the series. I enjoyed X but never understood the love it got. Especially since the primary complaint about XIII is Far more prevalent in X than it is in XIII. (Game on rails)

@InitialiseCasts This is one of the craziest takes I've seen in a while. Yuna and Auron are such powerful characters they outweigh the entirety of the ff13 cast on their own. I grew up on ff games and 13 fell so flat for me.

… I 100% XIII, and burned out on X I loved the scrappy, fractious party of XIII and really loved their character arcs. I liked X, but I never was as invested in the characters

@Portergauge @TheRedShirtGuy Because it’s not evergreen? Stories have ends so new one can form. Metzen said they are trying to end storylines. They are wrappings things up to start anew. I don’t understand how a wowhead writer doesn’t get that?? Like the Devs told you.

I could nitpick the max level campaign for so long, but I think at its core, the issue for me is that it feels like WoW doesn’t really want to *explore* conflicts and themes, it wants to resolve them. WoW is being written like it's a single-player game, not an evergreen MMO.

With that all said, I do hope Blizzard goes back to normal expansion pacing post TLT. I don't think the pacing of these trilogies is healthy for the game. I mainly hope we return to grassroots, smaller stories that are grounded in Azeroth and aren't constant cosmic threats.

People talking about they don't like how the Reunification of the Elves story was told, but that isn't the story being told? I saw a "truce" of the elves, a "compact" of the elves. But I didn't see a "reunification".

Again, you can NOT LIKE it, thats perfectly legitimate. But that doesn't make it bad. Don't work that way.

@PedroHCst Disbanding the Silver Covenant and Sunreavers in this rushed manner just to "make peace" in the same city. Is really really really poor way to end the conflict and end their stories in general. They should've remained constant and not unified. It's just bad.

@RiotPhroxzon @MidPeng At that MMR I would think 10-15 min queues should be Expected. I sincerely doubt players who invested that much effort are gonna leave the game to play something else with their free time. Are queue times a BIGGER complaint than better matchmaking? Sometimes it may not be possible. Seems like you were in queue for 6 minutes this game, how long would you prefer to wait?
