The Boil Water Notice on the Glenary Water Treatment Plant has been lifted with immediate effect. Following consultation with the HSE, customers on this supply can now resume normal use of their water supply. Visit brnw.ch/21wYyHq for further details.

@IrishWater Any update on when the boil water notice will be lifted in Ardfinnan? It has been 3 months and people are really annoyed facing into Christmas with this situation while other areas get fixed in hours or days at most.

Following consultation with the HSE, and due to a deterioration in raw water quality entering the plant which has affected the treatment process, a Boil Water Notice has been issued for customers supplied by Fethard Regional Public Water Supply. See wtr.ie/8lva2p.

@IrishWater We are now into the 4th month (Sept Oct Nov Dec) of water in Ardfinnan being unsafe & having a boil water notice. These occaisional updates are simply no longer good enough. Can you please give more details as to the problem & what is being done to fix it. People feel abondoned.
