I honestly am so conflicted with the Harvey situation. I wish so desperately we can make it work here at Anfield. There would be no player who would want it more for us on that pitch. He’s so close too. One lengthy injury to Szoboszlai/Salah and he starts loads and never looks back.

@HodgeLuke @Watch_LFC For me (for what it’s worth) he doesn’t do the bread and butter things on a consistent enough basis. He can create a bit of magic but I don’t think you can rely on him game to game. Useful squad player but not a starter.

@Watch_LFC I’m a big Harvey fan. His brain is on another level but the fact he’s so versatile, no main position, not quick, not strong & less athletic than others, he plays 2nd fiddle to everyone else. He’s a far better footballer than Szoboszlai but understand why Szobo gets the nod.

Just an observation: players who throw their hands up to get the crowd going are usually bang average and can’t get them going with their own play. Just get on with it it’s not a pantomime.
