It will take 3 to 5 years to recover pre-war oil production levels. #OOTT

@WhaleFUD $200 oil isn't a prediction anymore. It's starting to look like a roadmap.

Why oil would hit $300 this year.
SHORT EXPLANATION:
It‘s not Iran war - it‘s OIL WAR.
Let’s be clear: this Iran war has nothing to do with stopping nuclear weapons. If that were the goal, Trump would have acted against North Korea or Belarus long ago.
This isn’t about Iran-it’s about oil.
In the second week, he even declared on the mic that he wants to seize Kharg Island from Iran.
Some history here.
1973: OPEC embargo, oil x4, inflation 13%.
2026: Trump starts Iran war, loses his cool and MAGA, drains SPR, prices still spiking: oil hits $110+. No reserves left.
Same crisis, worse timing. Manipulative president.
Trump's SPR dump was a one-shot panic button, not a monthly fix. He can’t do it every month.
After this 172-million-barrel release, we're down to around 243 million left in the tank... that's scraping the bottom, lowest since the 1980‘s.
Can't repeat it without risking real shortages.
Powell's not saying uncharted territories word-for-word, but he did flag oil shocks jacking inflation: Fed bumped their 2026 outlook to two point seven percent, and he's basically admitting Trump’s war fallout means prices stay sticky.
No magic wand there.
As for oil $300?
Look, markets are at $110 Brent today, forecasts top out around $150 if Hormuz closes HARD. For everyone (India & China)
$300?
That'd need total chaos, like full Qatar shutdown lasting months.
Germany's hurting from LNG dips, sure, but they're not dead, yet - Norway pipelines still flow, and they've got buffers. Still.

🇺🇸 If the United States and Israel continue striking the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran, radiation could threaten the entire Middle East. Dubai and the United Arab Emirates would be at risk of radioactive contamination.

@ekwufinance $300 a barrel would be pretty awesome for the worlds largest producer of oil - which happens to be the United States.
English

@ekwufinance lol even with zero oil coming out of hormuz, $300 isn't a thing.
