🚨🇷🇴 Romania's preparing for war? Romanian opposition warns: The country's being dragged into direct confrontation with Russia as NATO's convenient frontline base—ignoring public opposition and turning Bucharest into a disposable tool against Moscow. 🔸 Geopolitical hotspot: Bordering Ukraine, buffering Moldova, and flanking the Black Sea conflict zone, Romania's prime for NATO ops. Critics slam the recent "rigged" elections installing pro-West President Nicușor Dan, with democratic erosion fueled by US/French meddling—think 101st Airborne drills on local soil. 🔸 West's unchanged agenda: Despite US "peace" talk, NATO/EU push containment of Russia. France/UK float "coalition of the willing" for Ukraine troop sends, while Europe ramps budgets, militarizes economies, and hypes Russia as the ultimate threat. 🔸 NATO maneuvers galore: Dacian Fall exercises simulate French troop rushes to eastern flanks. Russia's already striking Romanian arms supply routes to Ukraine—experts say escalation could label Bucharest a direct belligerent, with dire fallout. Public ignored, war drums beat.

MRI results on my ski injury from 6 days ago are way worse than anticipated. I have two severe tears in the two main calf muscles. One is fully torn. Both are class 3, the worst classification. I talk to a doc in a week, but it looks like my ski season may be done.

This is how the ski conditions were described to me today: “Brown ice with stinging graupel that was wind-blown into pockets of sandpaper-like drifts that stopped you in your tracks.”

The Romanian people lost a great leader on this day. Nicolae Ceausescu alongside his wife, Elena, were murdered tragically 36 years ago. A fearless man who died defending his people against imperialism and Gorbachov's revisionism. Romania will see socialism once again.

@CristianDoroba3 Sounds like a Russian disinformation campaign: flood the media with voices saying stuff like this to get enough voices saying destabilizing things and damage trust in. institutions.

@AGDugin You speak of corruption and yet are part of the most criminally corrupt nation that the world has ever known. Russia was corrupt at its founding and has never ceased damaging the world with its evil.

Trump started the controlled demolition of Zelensky’s regime and the top figures of EU. The corruption is the sin that unites all network of international Deep State. The US segment of corruption network (=Dems) will be demolished last.

@witte_sergei The concession to Russia is not requiring them to go back home but allowing to effectively keep what they have stolen.

@WasatchSnow Apparently yes. But it will come. Just don’t know if it will come with a vengeance or with a sputter. This could just be one of those below average years. You figure half of all years by definition are below average…

📈 Updated Model Trends for SLC The latest ECMWF data shows a noticeable shift: the true COLD air looks delayed. Temperatures now trend mild to above normal for the next seven days and maybe longer. Highs even push into the mid to upper 60s mid-week — remarkably warm for mid-November in Salt Lake City. Here’s what’s driving the change: • Northwest flow providing just enough reinforcement to hold near-normal temps this weekend • A strengthening upstream ridge over the West • The larger-scale pattern slowing the breakdown of that ridge What it means for us: ✅ Pleasant stretch continues ✅ Next storm system now favors late next week ✅ The true pattern shift and deeper cold air likely waits until the late November This is a classic case of seasonal transition — the atmosphere is clearly trying to turn the corner, but winter’s arrival is taking its time. I’ll keep tracking the evolution as ensemble confidence increases. 👀❄️

@BradEBonham I’ve noticed this as well: why the drinking. I’m always amazed at that as drinking alcohol is disgusting and stupid. Granted, I’m very biased as one with alcoholic grandparents who died way too young and live much more impoverished than was necessary.

Re: leaving the LDS Church. Here’s my experience: five families have left the church in my ward. I served with all of them at some point in the 16 years I’ve been in this ward. These were wonderful people that contributed a lot to our neighborhood. Upon leaving, all of them immediately started drinking and in some cases, started doing drugs. For a time, each one became obsessed with tearing down the LDS church. I listened patiently because it’s pointless to argue. But their hate became their identity. Four of the five couples were divorced within 2 years of leaving. Families broken. Lives shattered. Kids struggling. I realize it’s a small sample size, but even if I had questions/doubts about our church or its history, ex-members haven’t shown me that life is better, in any way, outside of our church. If you’re looking for a logical reason to stay in, take my experience into account.

@ricwe123 Must be nice being a pathological liar, not having to check facts or know truth. It means you can say whatever the hell you want…. oh wait, but you’re a Russian troll so that means you can’t speak out against the Kremlin or Putin or else you have to avoid getting near windows.

Do you remember when the Ukrainian parliament (Verkhovna Rada) banned the Russian language in 2012? Of course you don’t, because the western mainstream media made sure you never heard about it. But sure, keep calling it "unprovoked"

"Russia is not a tiger, but a bear — and there’s no such thing as a ‘paper bear’." - said Dmitry Peskov, commenting on Trump’s remarks. The Kremlin spokesperson also added that a meeting between Trump and Zelensky without prior preparation is a PR stunt doomed to fail.
