The only rationalization I can come up with is the following: “The champagne tastes better when you’ve spent a few seasons drinking tap water.” Tap water is fine but it generally has bacteria, lead, and microplastics in it. This is the biggest test of Galinson’s ownership so far. Under most other circumstances, these performances would get the manager sacked. But if there is an understanding in the building that the club won’t be moving forward with these players, but he’s the man to rebuild, then he could stay. The fans have justifiably lost belief in these players, and the performances mean they’re starting to lose faith in the manager, too. Big call for Brad, either way. #Gills
