@ComEd how do I actually look at my bill? Your stupid fucking app just displays a blank page. Not even hiding your scumminess now. Dirtbags.

During a recent routine safety walk down in Hyde Park, our crew, Ron and Keith, discovered a lost Netherlands passport. They jumped into action, helping reunite it with its owner — just in time for a Hawaiian honeymoon. 🌺✈️ You never know what kind of energy the day will bring, but we’re always ready to power lives when the time comes.

Hello Jenn, we posted to inform customers how to plant the right species of trees, in the right locations. As stated in our response, all lines are not buried because all underground wiring comes from an overhead source. Raised power lines are still frequently used in most municipalities, cities and states. The repair process requires digging, can sometimes be more difficult and expensive to repair for buried lines. We hope this information helps.

@ComEd Your post was about trees and that 21% of outages are caused by trees. Your response focused on why you have to maintain a problem..if burried lines arent the solution..raise poles. Relocate lines. Far easier for you to move wires than roots of a tree. Thanks

Hello Jenn, thanks for reaching out to us. There are a couple factor related to Naperville. Naperville is one city and they own, operated, managed and service by the city of Naperville. Also, all underground wiring comes from an overhead source. Raised power lines are still frequently used in most municipalities, cities and states. Burying lines must be planned and approved with each municipality prior to construction. Often times underground power lines are buried for visible aesthetics and not safety or reliability. The repair process can sometimes be more difficult and expensive to repair. They also require digging that can take longer to repair. Overhead lines are more convenient for maintenance and quicker to repair in emergency situations. In areas where necessary we do bury and maintain buried power lines. We hope this information helps.

@ComEd They would cause 0% if you all burried the lines underground like in Naperville.

Have been watching this crew work on and off tonight. Couldn’t have been nicer, had a temporary fix but decided to do it right - that was 5 hours ago. Thankful for the crews that do this work. @ComEd

@ComEd you broke my online account. I can login alright but no information is displayed including my bills. I opened a ticket last week, got a call back, but the problem has not been fixed and no follow-up. Do I need to contact the Illinois attorney general to get it fixed?
