@choochoobear It’s a very simple song contest; each participating country sends their best act within certain conditions (they have to be new, for example) who do one routine each then everyone votes for the winner. The voting is famously political with only slight biases toward actual talent.

Okay, you don't have a choice but to play a Live Nation/Ticketmaster affiliated venue. Fine. But what are you, as an artist, going to do about it?

At some point we need to acknowledge that bands who say they work with Ticketmaster because they don't have a choice are part of the problem. If they aren't advocating for fans do they really deserve fans?

I'm done. Yesterday I purchased tickets and ticketmaster applied a $16 service fee per ticket. Add on the $4 venue fee and that's $20 in fees per ticket. I've felt like a chump for two days. So that's it. Love and Rockets will officially be my last ticketmaster show.
