Today, I sent a letter to the CBC Ombudsman demanding an explanation and accountability for the use of taxpayer money to mislead, deceive and lie to Canadian citizens, including Members of Parliament, in attempts to trick them into participating in a fake documentary smearing the reputation of Canada's first prime minister.
I look forward to her response.

@lexcroucher Did the same thing. I was working under a geomorphologist and we asked it some questions related to the field and it just spat out a bunch of lies. The insidious part was that they were well crafted lies that if you weren't familiar with the field you might take at face value

when ChatGPT first launched i thought oh, a fun little chatbot! and asked it one question, which it failed to answer accurately by every available metric. i closed the tab. fascinated every day that other people did this and thought “aha, i will make the stupid robot my God”
