It's that time again! Our next meeting is tomorrow 05.06 at the BIMSB (Hannoversche Str 28) in Seminar Room 1.04. This time we have two students from the Rajewsky lab discussing their research in spatial transcriptomics! We hope to see you all there!

Hello comp bio aficionados! This months meeting is already around the corner! Wednesday April 3rd, 6 PM at the MPIMG (Ihnestr. 63, 14195 Berlin), join us to listen to Shahab Matin from testblu diagnostics talk about bioinformatics in liquid biopsies!

The holiday season is approaching! So is our next meeting! On Dec. 6th at 6 PM we will meet at the MDC to go to the Christmas market at Gendarmenmarkt together. All are welcome! Entry costs 1€. After this, meetings will be every other month, so look out for February!

Raik's talk is titled "Transcriptomic deconvolution renders the Machine-Learning-based prediction of neoplastic properties possible without training on data of neoplastic origin", and Wolfgang's is titled "scATAC-seq analysis using HMMs and deep learning"

One more week until our next social meeting! Wed. June 30th at 5 PM we will here from Raik Otto from the HU and Woflgang Kopp from the MDC/BIMSB.

Camille's presentation is titled "K-mer based data-structures for indexing sets of read sets", and Thomas will be presenting his project titled "Population-scale detection of non-reference sequence variants using colored de Bruijn Graphs".

Hello, world! Sorry for the delay, but the next CompBio Social is already upon us. Next Wed (26th of May) at 5 PM, join us for another two great speakers: @CamilleMrcht from the CNRS, and @krannich479 at the BIH!

Also, if any of you are young researchers here in Berlin and are interested in presenting, or there is someone you would want to hear a talk from, feel free to contact us! We are always looking for people to share their work.

David's talk is titled "Structural variant calling using third-generation sequencing" and Roman's talk is titled "Integration of multiomics data with graph convolutional networks to identify new cancer genes and their associated molecular mechanisms".
