@gabrielgironda I was randomly gifted a ticket to see them with Anthrax and Public Enemy when I in college. I was mostly into other music at the time and had never really listened to them. They were super entertaining on the stage but that's probably the last time I ever heard them.

@runixo Estos tres recursos te expondrían a los sonidos del norte, este y sur de la india. Más allá de estudiar fonología creo que es lo que mejor te va a servir en el mediano/largo plazo.

@runixo Estudiar hindi en Duolingo por un par de semanas, te afina el oído a sus sonidos. También vale mirar las pelis de Satyajit Ray (son en bengalí) con subtítulos y escuchar música clásica cantada de la india. Recomiendo a Aruna Sairam.

Me cuesta mucho entender a algunos indios hablándome en inglés. Tips?

@btbytes During my road trips around the USA when I was in my 20's Nebraska was one of my favorite states to visit. Beautiful parks and campgrounds everywhere, no crowds, great food (if you eat meat), nice people and gorgeous scenery.

The place to see this is not the towers of NYC, but a random camping site middle of "nowhere". The casual affluence of "middle America" is something to behold. When I see European, and funnily enough Indians(🤡) make fun of "fly over states". Dudes, you are just coping.

@btbytes I was led to believe there's no such thing as southern Indiana, only northern Kentucky.

As I stop in Bloomington, IN - I realize this about Indiana topography.
