The Comper Center is shocked by the antisemitic attack in Washington, DC — a grim reminder that anti-Zionist rhetoric can fuel deadly antisemitism. We join @AJCGlobal @CapJewishMuseum in mourning, reaffirm the urgency of advancing academic discourse on contemporary antisemitism.

Israeli research universities joining that international consensus is important, as it reflects a recognition of the need to understand and address the phenomenon within the academy—a task to which the Comper Center is fully committed. 3/3

We at the Comper Center, in advising Haifa leadership, think having a general consensus around a working definition is helpful as a point of departure for discussion and debate within the academy. 2/3
