A great event partnering with with @lesliewardtx, President, AT&T Texas for the @ATTPolicyTX for “H-Town: Summer of Connectivity” Initiative and giving out 212 FREE laptops to help Houston kids with their school work & computer literacy. I asked many of the kids what they will use their laptops for and they said their school work, games, with many talking careers in STEM which was great to hear! Thank you to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Vivian Clifton, and Pastor Troy for hosting the event, and Leslie’s AT&T office including Charles Stein, Tanya Makany Rivera @tmakrivera, Kevin Fletcher, and @Compudopt CEO Megan Steckly (and my District office).
