🚨 SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA: Commonwealth’s Attorney Elizabeth “Liz” Cooper is actively pushing for the destruction of Lucy - a heroic war-zone rescue dog belonging to a U.S. Army veteran. This woman is clearly an advocate for animal cruelty. Instead of using her discretion to drop the case and return Lucy to her loving family, she’s persecuting a veteran and his dog. I will personally do everything in my power to make sure Liz Cooper is NEVER elected again in 2027. I don’t feel safe in my own home. I haven’t for years. I have heard the slander, I have been the punching bag for people’s hatred towards us, I have felt the eyes (and camera lenses) of people peeking into my life when they had no right to be there. The emotional and physical well-being of my family is suffering. I will sacrifice everything to remedy that. My family is facing some heartbreaking decisions in the upcoming days. In the midst of advocating for Lucy, our businesses have suffered significantly. The legal costs still ahead, along with the difficult decisions our family is now facing in order to protect our rights to just exist on our land as well as protecting our physical and emotional safety—have become overwhelming.
