@tkennedysa I fly international out of there at least 12 times a year, and every time it’s a disaster. 2/20 staff max at immigration. Security slow and too busy talking to be efficient. Cape Town isn’t much better, to be honest.

@Sascja Well, working between the UAE and Cape Town, but none of my work (private Concierge) is for local clients so I’m pretty out the loop here. Can’t complain though, get to travel loads and the work is amazing!

@Monapants@inkjellybean Oh dear. Ok, so not sure where you’re based, but I’d recommend a small little shop in Cape town called TimePlex. They fixed an old Mac and iPad I was told were not fixable. They offer a collect and deliver service also - timeplex.co.za May be worth a call/mail

@SeagramPearce@Ant_I_R_Legend IMazing is great, but I was put off by the ridiculous fee they charged when all I wanted to do was extract iMessages. Have you tried to logout out your iCloud account, login again and see if that helps? It may. Does mean all Apple Music downloads hab to be done again, though
@concierge_ryan@Ant_I_R_Legend Yeah I've exhausted all the online troubleshooting (updates, reboots, etc). I'm now trying 3rd party software to do a backup. First couple didn't do a proper backup with all data, so trying more options. Currently trying iMazing. Will relay progress.
I've spent the last 3 days trying to backup my iPhone successfully to transfer it to my new one. Getting every error message known to mankind. #troubleshooting
