🌐 Mullvad VPN sigue mejorando Mullvad lanzará pronto una nueva función en su aplicación para iOS que obliga a que todo el tráfico de internet de las apps pase por el túnel de la VPN. Esto resuelve un problema conocido en el sistema de Apple que permitía fugas de datos en ciertas situaciones. La opción, llamada internamente "Force all apps", activa un ajuste que bloquea cualquier conexión fuera del VPN. Sin embargo, tiene un inconveniente: al activarla, las actualizaciones de la app pueden fallar y dejar el dispositivo sin conexión a internet hasta reiniciarlo. Para evitarlo, los usuarios deberán desconectar la VPN o desactivar temporalmente esta función antes de actualizar. Mullvad anima a los afectados a reportar el fallo a Apple para que lo solucione. Esta mejora estará disponible en la próxima versión de la app.

Important reminder: privacy doesn’t stop at encryption. Even secure apps can leak data through notifications if not configured properly. If you use Signal, go to: Settings → Notifications → Show → select “No name or message” This prevents message content from being stored in system notifications. For stronger defaults, consider hardened alternatives like Molly (Signal fork), which already handles this more securely. We chose a different path. We don’t offer free @CastrumOS flashing because we don’t want to depend on donations. We want a sustainable model where real users pay from day one and understand the value of what they’re using. Starting free and later switching to subscriptions feels like a betrayal of trust. “If you don’t pay for the product, you are the product.” Privacy and security need a business model that survives long term, not one that hopes for funding.

Just make subscriptions. You can make it as cheap as 10 SESH per month/year, whatever. With 1.5m users it can be 15m SESH per month/year. You’ll have money from the token. Asking for donation is absurd while having a token. Tokenomics can be your best friend, it just doesn’t need to be 95-100% of sell pressure. Better have 200k users willing to pay 1-5$, than have 1.5m free users, beg for donations and close the project in the end, imho.
