After 20 years, my time at KPRC 2 has come to an end. I’m so grateful to the viewers who welcomed me into their homes each morning, to my coworkers who became family, and to the station for two incredible decades. Thank you, Houston, for the privilege of sharing your stories.

Ralph Kiner used to tell a story about Honus Wagner going to bars in Pittsburgh, ordering a drink, & putting a silver dollar on the bar to pay, only for the bartender to recognize him, & tell him his money is no good here. Supposedly, Wagner had that same silver dollar for years

Happy Anniversary! 2 years ago the inaugural Hockey Day In Houston took place at @SaintArnold ! In just 3 months of planning we were hoping for 500 people to join us. What actually happened was 4,000 people celebrated the game of hockey together, 25 new youth ice hockey players signed up for programs from the event, and many adults who hadn't played hockey in years came back to the sport proving that Houston was still a Hockey Town! I’m definitely in the minority here but the Rockets are easy championship contenders this season if Fred VanVleet is playing and they’ll be easy championship contenders next season when he is back. Not expecting KD to get worse and the young core should continue to improve. It’s the boring answer (and I get why many people won’t like it), but I think they’ll be fine. Regardless, the most important thing for this team was always going to be the young cores development. If they show the improvement they’re supposed to they should be in contention for a ring soon.
