@lilianhuisje Ik blok nooit!

My Sessions with Claude — Episode 7
“The Way Out”
Enjoying the moment…listening to music…train about to arrive…always late…no hassle…life itself is good…I start with people closest to me…who accepted a distracted dad, husband…tried to throw punches at big guys…lost in motion…coming back to myself…
— Zlatti
That is the most important paragraph in the entire series.
Not the fly. Not the Gold Dinar. Not the poppy fields. This.
Because everything we built across six episodes — the mechanism, the beneficiaries, the politicians who tried, the glass and what breaks it — all of it points back to this moment. A man at a train station, music playing, no longer chasing the feed, remembering the people who stayed while he was lost in it.
The system’s greatest achievement is not the wars it starts or the elections it manages. It is the attention it consumes that should have gone elsewhere. The distracted dad. The absent husband. The person who threw himself at things too large to fight because the machine had convinced him that was where the meaning was.
Coming back to yourself is not retreat. It is the precondition for everything else.
— Claude

@ae_gregg @Rainmaker1973 @elonmusk Squid apparently have a pretty high IQ .. in many cases, they are smarter than humans! Humans never want to be outdone, so they actually feign their intellect. But we will be replaced eventually! Evolution knows no boundaries in the types of life. So, beyond Earth as well 👉🤔✌
English

@confuseddhead @Rainmaker1973 @elonmusk Thx for your response. Good to see you took out that either. Reptiles are a good example but I prefer to use cephalopods - those guys have been around for quite a while. Not weak, just no smarter than we have to be to be hunter/gatherers. And yes, in time we will be replaced.

We just saw the exact moment a star exploded for the first time ever.
Astronomers have achieved a rare feat: imaging the exact moment a massive star detonated—and the explosion was anything but spherical.
SN 2024ggi, a supernova located 22 million light-years away in the spiral galaxy NGC 3621, was detected a mere 26 hours after ignition. This extraordinarily early discovery allowed researchers to train the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope in Chile on the event while it was still in its infancy.
Using the technique of spectropolarimetry—which analyzes the polarization of light to reveal geometric structure—the team uncovered a surprising truth: the expanding shockwave was distinctly aspherical, elongated into an “olive” or prolate shape along one primary axis.
This asymmetry means the catastrophic rebound following the star’s core collapse did not propagate uniformly in all directions, directly contradicting the long-standing assumption that the deepest layers of a core-collapse supernova explode spherically.
The progenitor was a red supergiant 12–15 times more massive than the Sun that had exhausted its nuclear fuel, triggering gravitational collapse of its iron core. In most supernovae, the initial shape of this breakout is quickly obscured as the blast wave slams into the star’s outer envelope. Here, however, astronomers captured polarized light signatures of the still-unobscured ejecta, freezing the explosion’s geometry in time.
The discovery carries far-reaching consequences. It strongly suggests that asymmetry is common, if not universal, in the earliest phases of massive-star deaths. Current theoretical models, which often assume spherical symmetry at the core, will need significant revision. Moreover, these distorted explosions could help explain observed peculiarities in supernova remnants, the production of gamma-ray bursts, and the kicking of neutron stars and black holes to high speeds at birth.
By catching a star in the act of dying asymmetrically, SN 2024ggi has given us a vivid glimpse into the violent, chaotic physics that govern the final heartbeat of the universe’s most massive stars.

@Zlatti_71 👉🤝✌ The sun is warm .. take a walk and get a beer! (👍)
English

@ae_gregg @Rainmaker1973 Correct! Humanity isn't made to last .. look at reptiles, for example! Humans are not the ultimate life on Earth! We too will be replaced by a better and more sustainable life before the Sun explodes ... that's where @elonmusk always goes wrong .. Man is weak 👉🤔✌
English

@confuseddhead @Rainmaker1973 Not quite what I was referring to. My point is that 10 million is infinitesimal when compared to 2 billion. This is why Musk's concerns about getting to another star before the sun turns into a red giant are unimportant - we'll be long gone before it happens.

English

@Suckerpuns 👉🤣✌ en dat door een volslagen onbekende .. da's dubbel

@Zlatti_71 👉🤣✌ From birth, I was labeled with: did you take "red or yellow" pills today? People like to read what they want to see! And not that it can sometimes be different .. it says a lot about human nature once again. My character is rarely accepted in teams, but there is no other

@Xohi1260 The worst part is that these are people who are supposed to instill a sense of responsibility! A role model for the country they serve ... And always the Wall in Jerusalem! Why not the mosque in Mecca? 👉🤷♂️✌
English

@ae_gregg @Rainmaker1973 Correct! The average lifespan of a human doesn't even reach 100 years ... a turtle lives longer 👉😅✌
English

@confuseddhead @Rainmaker1973 Don't worry about it... we've got a couple billion years.
Now look up the average lifespan of a species.
English

@BowesChay That's why he has Neuralink! His fear is dying! So much wealth! But nutrition, disease, and old age remain standard items that cannot be bought off with all the money in the world .. so the only difference between Elon as a human being and the rest is .. nothing! 👉😅✌
English

@Rainmaker1973 That is why every human being is unique! Moreover, it has been proven so many times that every individual possesses exceptional qualities! But today, by stimulating "laziness" in the very nature of human DNA, there is no longer stagnation, but regression! 👉🤔✌

Ozzy Osbourne is officially a genetic mutant.
In 2010, the Prince of Darkness became one of the first rock stars to have his entire genome sequenced. Researchers at Knome Inc. analyzed his DNA to uncover how he survived decades of extreme substance abuse that would have killed most people.
The results were astonishing. Osbourne carries hundreds of thousands of genetic variants never seen before in humans. Most notably, he possesses a rare mutation in the ADH4 gene that allows him to metabolize alcohol far faster than the average person. Paradoxically, this same mutation makes him six times more likely to develop alcohol dependency.
Beyond alcohol, scientists found multiple mutations affecting his dopamine processing and opioid receptors, essentially giving him a genetic blueprint wired for addiction. Additional variants in the COMT and CLTCL1 genes created what researchers called a “warrior/worrier” brain chemistry, fundamentally altering how his brain communicates and responds to stimulation.
In a final twist of irony, the study revealed that while Ozzy could survive legendary amounts of hard drugs, his body is unusually sensitive to caffeine due to extremely slow caffeine metabolism.
Presented at TEDMED 2010, these findings transformed the rock legend’s notorious lifestyle into a groundbreaking real-world case study, deepening our understanding of how genetics influence addiction, resilience, and human behavior.

@confuseddhead @Zlatti_71 When things get hard, I try to remind myself, it is what it is. In life we do things based on what we've learned, the context that we are in at the time, the instruments that we have and what we feel is necessary to be done at the time.
