@anooshka_rawden I let it go, especially if you have a name with various spelling conventions. People spell my name with the ‘s’ version all the time. I wince when people assume I’m also ‘Liz’, but I know they’re not being malicious, just friendly. I think intent is really important.

Genuine question - anyone else feel anxiety about asking people to spell your name right when they repeatedly get it wrong and then have to coach yourself to recognise it’s actually quite a reasonable thing to ask, especially if it keeps happening…?

#DesignDestinations | A look at the wonderful Jardin Majorelle, located in Marrakech, Morocco 🌵 Originally dating back to the 1920s, this botanical garden was created by French artist Jacques Majorelle. The garden was purchased by fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent in the 1980s to save it from being sold to hotel developers. The garden is a living work of art, with exotic plants from around the world such as water lilies and banana trees. At the centre of the garden is a bright blue villa, designed by architect Paul Sinoir. The villa was designed in a cubist style with strong geometric shapes and was painted in 'bleu Majorelle', after the owner. 📸 marta.agnello on Instagram
