A single dose (200 mg for adults) is recommended if all of the following are true: the tick is likely a blacklegged (Ixodes) tick, it was attached for at least 36 hours (often engorged), the dose can be taken within 72 hours of removal, the bite occurred in a Lyme‑endemic area then treatment is advised. @twc_health twc.health/focalpoints
