The issues with this schedule are many; only 1 bye week and it’s in November. We play our rival in the opening week of conference play in September. And we play on a Thursday with zero extra time to prep/recover from that short turnaround. Do better @SunBelt

@GonzoApp Well thats exactly what I’m saying lol. Coaching is more important than money. People are gonna get real butt hurt about Luke Combs not wanting to donate to NIL….but don’t fuck up a coaching hire, win games, and the money will come. But the wins have to come before the money.

Fair. Why give a dime to a player who is just going to leave after a semester. College sports is in a bad place; it’s bigger than one school, one conference, or even one division. But it’s hard to ignore the fact that it is a stupid use of one’s money to donate to NIL right now

@AppStateGrad20 @AppStateConeBoy UVA could also recruit the talent needed to run that style well on a consistent basis. Think of all the mid-major programs that make runs in March. The vast majority are fast paced offenses that can get hot from 3 at any point and light up a scoreboard

@AppStateConeBoy One natty and two ACC tournament championships at Virginia. Great coach, but his slow tempo defensive oriented teams underperformed by a lot in the postseason. Virginia could afford to lose the ACC tournament. We can’t. Unless we get more NIL funds, we need to be more uptempo.
