In the least surprising result of the day, Juan Gonzalez of Fremont finishes his last State meet with a fourth gold medal, this time in the 1600 with his 4:11. Conor Gross of Westside hangs with him for most of the race to finish 2nd in 4:15.

Metros is Conor Gross’ third outdoor meet of the season. After a 7th-place finish in the 3200 last night, the Westside senior and @CreightonXC commit wins today’s 1600 in 4:18. John Strabala of Papio South 2nd in 4:20.

We were on 🔥 in the boys junior race led by @conor_g53 finishing with the 🥈 medal! @__R_y_a_n_K__ followed right behind bringing home the 🥉! Collin Neumann also with a top ten finishing 9th and Preston Penny brought home the warriors 4th medal of the race, finishing 13th!
