Another credit downgrade under this NDP government. That means less investment and higher interest costs. More money to service debt, less for money on the services you rely on. #bcpoli

🚨 Breaking 🚨 B.C. Government blew $165,000 buying 1,000 cups of coffee for a publicity stunt in Seattle. That works out to $165 per cup of coffee. Documents exclusively obtained by @taxpayerDOTcom

Eby told British Columbians that Alberta's Northern oil pipeline was "fictional" and "not a real project". The documents tell a different story. Internal government documents revealed that the NDP was secretly running a coordinated campaign to kill it. This was a pipeline that could have delivered $2 billion in yearly revenue and major benefits to BC Indigenous communities. The NDP decided to destroy it anyway. In secret. All while the Premier stood in front of British Columbians and told them it wasn't real. #bcpoli

I’m at BC Ferries Tsawwassen Terminal. Both @jarmstrongbc and @jungangela have been here and I wanted to see what’s going on first hand. It’s absolute mayhem. It’s easy for CEO Jimenez to say he understands the concerns raised by British Columbians about BC Ferries in an article. He and the BC Ferry Board should be down here with the PEOPLE who are SUFFERING FROM HIS INCOMPETENCE.

Reporter @jungangela_ called @BCFerries Board Chair Joy MacPhail - but MacPhail said she was on vacation and ended the call. No one associated with @BCFerries would do an interview Sunday. Queen of Surrey lasted 40 min in service after annual refit — then broke down. #bcpoli

Can anyone tell me what the NDP’s plan is? What’s happening with private land? What’s the goal with B.C. Crown Land access and management? Is Fee Simple protected legally in B.C.? How are we going to get our economy to actually reach its potential by getting projects moving? My Bill aims to at least let people look behind the curtain… #bcpoli 👇

$19 million spent. No clear results, beyond the obvious death and destruction. British Columbians deserve to know, where did the data go? Either this government couldn't competently complete a pilot project, or they don't want the results getting out. Either way, that's $19 million of YOUR money down the drain, and devastation on our streets is all we have to show for it.

Small businesses are struggling, and the NDP isn’t helping. Today I tabled a @CFIB petition signed by 7000+ employers asking for red tape and tax relief. Let’s start by rolling back the poorly timed PST expansion.

The NDP says one thing to your face and something completely different behind closed doors. Eby promised to go to the wall for your property rights now he's saying there's no issue at all. DRIPA negotiations are happening in secret, under NDAs, away from the legislature, away from you. No plan. No accountability. No transparency. This is who the NDP are. #bcpoli

Record debt. Record deficit. Record failure. The NDP has run the biggest deficit in BC history. And what do British Columbians have to show for it? Nothing. Hospitals are still closing. People can't afford rent. Can't afford groceries. Can't afford to stay. The NDP isn't fixing BC. They're mortgaging it. Billions borrowed, services getting worse, and everyday British Columbians left to foot the bill. The NDP has had years. They've failed BC. Full stop. #bcpoli

The maternity unit at Peace Arch Hospital is shutting down for the sixth time this year. Expectant mothers in White Rock are being turned away and diverted elsewhere because the NDP was warned about this doctor shortage back in December and did nothing. This is a government sitting on a $13 billion deficit. Yet they still can't keep the lights on in a delivery room. The NDP has spent into a historic debt hole. What do they have to show for it? Long wait times, understaffed hospitals, and maternity wards that can't stay open. When the NDP talks about investing in healthcare, ask them about the mothers being turned away from their local hospital for the sixth time in three months. #bcpoli

British Columbians are clear, but the BC NDP continues down their own path of fringe policies that put our property rights at risk. Time for common sense. #bcpoli

A BC researcher spent decades researching addiction and homelessness treatment. When he presented his findings to BC government officials, they asked him to destroy it when it conflicted with their agenda. He testified to this under oath before a federal health committee. He also testified that two senior provincial government officials advocating for safe supply and decriminalization policies went on to start companies that profited from those very policies. The conflict of interest couldn't be more clear. For years we were told that the NDP's policies were evidence-based. But when the evidence doesn't support the ideology, they destroy the evidence. Five British Columbians are dying from drug overdose every single day. British Columbians deserve policies that are grounded in real evidence. Not ideology. It's time to change course
Claire Rattée@ClaireRattee

Explosive testimony out of Ottawa has shown that a B.C. researcher was directed by senior government officials to destroy decades of addiction research, after presenting findings that didn’t align with the NDP’s approach. This is deeply disturbing. For years, we’ve been told these policies were evidence-based. But what happens when the evidence doesn’t support the ideology? A decade into this crisis, we are still losing 5 people every single day. We cannot afford to keep getting this wrong. It’s time to change course: toward real recovery, treatment, and results.

Wow. As a longtime teacher and BCTF member, I have to say that I’m disappointed the union has chosen to be vocal about international politics. Of the 40,000 members it represents, I’d hazard to guess that 30,000+ would disagree entirely with this motion, or at least have a “why get involved” stance. I’ve received numerous texts and emails from former teaching colleagues who are outraged about this motion and are increasingly frustrated with the priorities and politics of the BCTF. Jewish kids in B.C. are afraid to go to school, and many require security. Not a peep about this? The BCTF should be focused on student learning outcomes and teacher professionalism in B.C., not political activism halfway around the world wouldn’t you agree @NinaKriegerBC? #bcpoli

The BC Teachers Federation, the province wide labour union representing over 40,000 teachers, has just passed a resolution in support of BDS! The first province-wide motion to support BDS in solidarity with Palestine!!
