Though I’ve heard relay selection MAY be based on who you know (favoritism of some kind), it should be based ONLY on what nets the best result for the team.

That young lady has proven she's got the goods: two pro-level sprint finals in a national championship as Junior in hs. That should be the only headline....

@jamsta @850famuman @brahepedersen @Track_Gazette Melanin deficiency may very well have contributed to the reason this athlete was yanked from the relay team in Cali when she was one of the top two most qualified to be there—and could have cost the team gold as a result. It goes both ways.
