Go talk to those low income earning mothers who, when sick, or expectant with no money to take a cab to hospital, with fresh stiches from cancer surguries, their stiches detach from hazardous sound vibrations... Go talk to those residents who have never had a peaceful nights or evenings, from extreme noise pollution.. Go talk to those parents whose kids have been exposed to drugs in these matatus.... You would deny a child two would be loving parents based on their gender and sexual preference? The one and only goal of the adoption process should be to ensure adopted children are loved and cared for by couples who are capable of doing so. There is ZERO evidence that gay couples are incapable of this. Throwing in politics and semantics would simply make it more difficult for displaced children to find a loving home. It's appalling that our morals have degraded to this extent. I thought republicans wanted less government ? Now you want legislation standing in the middle of would be happy families ?

Gay surrogacy and gay adoption are predicated on the idea that gay men (or women) have a “right” to become parents. This idea is not only morally insane but also logically incoherent. It’s exactly like jumping off a building and claiming that you have the right to fly. Nobody has the right to defy the laws of nature. Where would such a right even originate? Two men cannot be parents. It’s impossible. Doesn’t matter how they feel or what they want. It cannot be. The only “right” at issue here is the right of the child. And the child has a right to be raised by a mother and a father, not two men masquerading as mother and father.
