A Brahmin who is afraid of Dravidian rule.🤡🤣 #electionsresults2026 #CMVijay

BREAKING: End of the DMK-Congress alliance is official, Congress extends formal support to Vijay’s TVK.

I have a hot take: Joseph Chandrasekar Vijay, our soon to be CM, is a practising Christian who also visits temples. In that sense, it is a positive sign that secular Tamil Nadu may elect its first-ever Christian Chief Minister. In the future, I would also like to see some Abdul Kadhar become Chief Minister—a Muslim CM—and similarly, a Dalit leader as well. Over the course of the next hundred-two hundred years, every section of Tamil society should be given a democratic opportunity to lead and represent the state. I do not subscribe to unfounded allegations such as “the Vatican is controlling him” or “he is receiving funds from Pakistan.” If there is even an iota of truth in such claims, it is the duty of the Central Government to investigate them thoroughly and bring the facts to light. As a practising Hindu who is often mocked by Dravidian ideologues on account of my Brahmin identity, my only expectation from any Chief Minister is that they do not interfere with my religious customs. I also expect not to be subjected to caste-based slurs such as “pāpan” or “pāpathi,” or any other derogatory terms targeting my identity and faith by their party's ecosystem. Equally, no individual or community should face interference in how they choose to worship their deities—this principle must extend beyond Hinduism to all religions. Every citizen should have the right to practise their faith freely, without fear or favour. Beyond these concerns, what matters most to me is governance: lifting people out of poverty, attracting investment, improving ease of doing business, strengthening law and order to reduce crime, women safety, implementing effective public welfare schemes, boosting GDP growth, creating employment opportunities for the youth, promoting sports—especially among underprivileged sections of society—and eradicating the menace of drugs and alcohol. These are the metrics that truly and tangibly impact the everyday lives of people.

TVK President Thiru Vijay has requested the Indian National Congress' (INC) support to form a government in Tamil Nadu. The INC is clear that the mandate in Tamil Nadu is for a secular government, committed to protecting the Constitution in letter and spirit. The INC is determined not to allow the BJP and its proxies to run the government of Tamil Nadu in any manner. Thiru Vijay has also spoken about drawing inspiration from Perunthalaivar Kamaraj. Accordingly, the Congress leadership has directed the TNCC to take a final decision on Thiru Vijay’s request, keeping in view the sentiments of the state as reflected in the electoral verdict. : Congress General Secretary (Org.) Roman Catholics don't go around singing hallelujah and converting ppl unlike Protestant or Pentecostal or Jehovah Witnesses. Joseph Vijay being an RC will not indulge in this nonsense.

Inner voice of many. This is just a beginning. Picture abhi baaki hai. 😊👌🏼💪🏼 #WestBengal @narendramodi

Indian IT services companies got a competition they were not expecting

While all cameras are fixated on the political earthquake in Bengal, a massive geographical shift has quietly solidified in the South. By stepping in to support Vijay's TVK in Tamil Nadu, Congress has just played a strategic masterstroke. Look at the board Karnataka is theirs. Telangana is theirs. Kerala leans UDF. And now, a power share in Tamil Nadu. Minus Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry, the entire southern peninsula has essentially slipped into Congress hands. While the BJP violently breaches the East, the South has completely insulated itself. We are no longer looking at just state election results. We are looking at two completely different political Indias. The 2029 battlelines have officially been drawn. @INCIndia @kharge @RahulGandhi @tvkvijayhq @BJP4India

My mom saw BJP’s wins in Assam, Bengal and across state after state and asked me: ‘do you think the rise of Hindutva will affect us as Muslims in the future?’ Also the Left has vanished from India’s map. Real question from a Muslim home what do you think, India?

#WATCH | Haldia, West Bengal: BJP leader and winning candidate from Bhabanipur and Nandigram seat, Suvendu Adhikari says, "...This time I won the election with almost ten thousand votes. The Hindu people of Nandigram made me win again. There, the entire Muslim vote went to TMC... I will work for the Hindus of Nandigram. TMC will be finished. Within 24 hours, it will be destroyed, it will be finished. This corrupt, family-oriented party has no ideology... We will do the work that Home Minister Amit Shah had declared in the manifesto, and Prime Minister Modi has guaranteed again and again. We will complete it..."
