🚨 #SaveSadie UPDATE 🚨 4/28: Seen by Neurology at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. Cognitive progress improving 🙏 CT delayed due to GI bleeding. Sent home with medication. 4/29 8:00 PM: Sudden turn, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, unable to keep water down. Rushed to emergency care. 4/29 10:15 PM: Condition unstable. Severe dehydration + dangerously high heart rate. Today has been a busy day. I am actively working two dog cases right now: 🚨 #SaveLucy A soldier saved her in war and now she is facing euthanasia over a minor complaint at home. 🚨 #SaveSadie An Amazon driver ran over a family dog and left her to die. I will post the full stories in the comments. With #SaveHachi, we ended up with multiple media stories, including two Fox News Houston interviews. That case took time, but it showed what can happen when people pay attention. Today I have been working the phones, emails, and tip lines trying to get these stories in front of the right people. I just want to say thank you to everyone sharing, calling, messaging, praying and paying attention… it matters more than you probably realize. This community shows up every time, and it never goes unnoticed. Animal advocates on X are the best. Seriously. 🐾 ❤️

A Florida woman has been arrested and charged with six counts of aggravated cruelty to animals after she was captured on camera throwing a small dog twice and kicking it. Deputies took the dog to a veterinarian where it is receiving care for a broken leg.

Favorite picture of my dog, Sheriff Knoxville Blackpaw. He's the steady paw of justice known for tracking fugitives and bringing them to justice either inside or outside the law. He famously said, "Inside every lawman remains the shadow of a sock thief."
