Lot to unpack here. Per usual, excellent reporting by John. I like Jake. I was hopeful he would have been at WSU for a long time. The school must invest or that program will die.

@gocougs123 It's embarrassing when fans get mad over a coach leaving without a statement. Dude has other priorities and he made his statement. I can't fault him when credible reports are saying that Wazzu is cutting scholarships and investing like a G5 team.

I would say the lack of gratitude/respect he showed to the school that gave him his biggest opportunity on his way out is appalling.

Wake Forest is objectively not a better job other than the pay check. I maybe be delusional sometimes, but WSU has consistently put out more consistent winners, and now we have a much clearer path to the playoff. Its money, that is all
