What's with random strangers telling others that we must respect them?
Where does the idea come from that I owe a perfect stranger respect beyond the basic respect I hold for humanity?
Why does a man who wants to be called a woman think it's a lack of respect when I don't?
It's beyond entitlement.
I respect the humanity of everyone.
I have gone to the aid of perfect strangers in dangerous situations, and when they are in distress many times.
I'm polite and non aggressive to strangers in real life when there is no reason not to be.
In my professional roles, I have always shown professional courtesy and concern.
I have gone out of my way many times in my life to assist and comfort strangers.
As I'm sure most of us have.
But I honestly believe refusing to pretend a man is a woman is not a lack of respect for that man.
It's a preservation of the respect that all women and girls are owed as humans.
To call a man a woman is to disrespect all women and girls.
