That's what the Conservatives did" "I don't want to cut the winter fuel allowance, I don't think any government wants to do that, but we've got to fix the foundations of our economy" "Then we can build the better future that pensioners and so many others voted for in this election" I personally don't think Starmer will sit by and watch pensioners suffer fuel poverty which makes me think that Starmer and Reeves have something up their sleeves which they'll announce in the Autumn statement

@RachelReevesMP @Keir_Starmer is it fair we worked over 40 years to get £221 a week and pension credit stops for single people over £218 per week then you stop winter fuel help. Hope you enjoy your fuel payments as bet you don’t give them up
