Upgrade: Speed lets you move more quickly. (You could also call this velocity, but only if your life has a sense of direction.)


My idea is that both Slug and the enemies are largely made of gel, so Slug can absorb the gel from defeating enemies. This could be implemented like earning XP to level up in order to increase your stats (maybe make it like a roguelike, with permanent upgrades you can get, too).


I should really make a Unity build of the game so I can start prototyping, but until then, have this drawing of Slug and his buddy.


Perhaps Slug can swallow multiple guns dropped by each of the bosses to start firing random nonsense as projectiles.



What gaming opinion has you like this? 👀









Maybe it would be better to have one set path, but make it tough to get to the end? What if the enemy patterns were randomly generated like a roguelike?
