@poutine8383 Oh I thought you were talking about fantasy. Yeah that's always an interesting debate for the actual draft - especially when it comes to "elite player at lesser position" vs. "good player at important position".

@CoopAFiasco Sure. But time and time again we have seen that type of production available on the fa market for far cheaper than a wr drafted at the same spot.

@poutine8383 With Love it's more about RBs with his projected draft capital having a near flawless hit rate. Even the "worst" guys like Trent Richardson and Ashton Jeanty (so far) put up 1,300+ yards from scrimmage as rookies. If he goes very early, it doesn't matter who is in the RB room.

@CoopAFiasco Still blows my mind that every expert still has Love going ahead of the first wide receiver. Especially two places like Tennessee or Washington that have a dearth of talent at the position.

@LordReebs @IkeyAzar We don't know for sure who will score more points but one thing we do know is those points are more valuable in the TE spot in your lineup

@IkeyAzar @CoopAFiasco that is largely the consensus take for most content I have consumed elsewhere. He and Burden have essentially the same early ADP, and I am ahead of Loveland in ranks vs early ADP.

Is a season like this an unreasonable ask for a 22 year old Luther Burden? This is what Year 2 looked like for a bunch of rock-solid NFL pros in recent years.

@LordReebs @pfref 2nd year Zay Flowers - 74/1,059/4 2nd year AJ Brown - 70/1,075/11 We hate to admit it because TDs aren't as sticky but that can be the difference between a WR2-3 and a backend WR1. And it's why I left 2nd year AJ Brown off the list.

@CoopAFiasco @pfref My initial projection for Burden this year is in this ballpark... 87 catches for 1,064 yards, and 5 TD. The question will be the TDs, which impact so much for ceiling has been the Zay Flowers runout. I would still bet on Loveland and Odunze being thorns for end zone targets.

@WyattB_FF Case in point - CeeDee Lamb got steamed up to WR12 in ADP going into Year 2 and had a solid season but finished as WR18

At current cost, he kind of *needs* to do this.

Wherever he gets drafted he’ll be deployed as a pass catcher and his athleticism is on a different level than Likely and Chig

Jimmy Graham was basically a WR. Travis Kelce basically a WR. Who cares?
