Many co-ops are failing because they absolutely suck at customer relations and knowing what it takes to build a solid relationship between those responsible for buying grain and the farmers selling it

Got that big 0.4% dividend check from my local Co-op and it really makes me feel good about the 10% more I pay for chemical, seed and fertilizer plus getting ripped off on basis

This is why we cater to GR Farms. A well run BTO. While all you smaller farmers are bitching they’re out here getting something done.

I appreciate the free lunches, but I don’t understand them. Harvest is one of the easiest jobs a farmer does. Is sitting in a machine that strenuous?
